Hello there!
I'm Lia, an illustrator and graphic designer
based in Manchester.
I create narrative, hand-drawn illustrations with a focus on storytelling, detail and atmosphere. My work is inspired by childhood imagination, nature, folklore, mythology and fantasy and is often created for children's spaces, publishing and thoughtful brands who value meaningful, story-led visuals.

I've loved drawing for as long as I can remember. It's always felt like something I was meant to do. After studying art and design, I spent over a decade working as a graphic designer but illustration was where my heart truly lay. After taking redundancy, during Covid and becoming a mum to two energetic boys, I finally decided to pursue illustration alongside freelance graphic design. It's been a big shift but one that feels right.

My illustrations are created digitally, allowing my ideas to grow, and evolve naturally. I'm drawn to natural colour palettes, whimsical settings and gentle characters, creating little worlds designed to spark curiosity, imagination and calm.

I put a lot of care and intention into every piece I create and I love working closely with people to bring meaningful ideas to life. If you're looking for illustration that feels personal, thoughtful and rooted in storytelling, I'd love to hear from you.
