I'm Lia, an illustrator and graphic designer
based in Wigan, Manchester.
I create hand drawn illustrations for publishing, editorial and purpose led brands, combining storytelling with thoughtful visual communication.
Drawing has always been such a big part of who I am. After studying art and design, I spent over 15 years as a graphic designer before pursuing illustration professionally alongside freelance design. Having this background and knowledge means I approach every project with creativity and strategic thinking, creating illustrations that communicate ideas with a purpose.
I'm passionate about working with publishers, editorial teams and conscious brands who want to make a positive impact in the world. Whether that’s encouraging sustainable or ethical choices, raising awareness or inspiring young readers, I really do love helping meaningful ideas connect with people through illustration.

All my illustrations are drawn by hand, from the first sketch to the finished artwork. As AI-generated imagery becomes more common, I believe there's real value in artwork created by talented people, there’s so much more to producing art! I bring experience, design support and creativity that you simply can’t get from AI.
